Handmade vintage gown. Worn 41 years ago and then lovingly stored, so in great vintage condition. Is in two pieces, a slip and overdress, plus sash.
Has a Victorian vibe with the high neck and sleeves. For the neck to sit comfortably the biggest neck measurement should be 33cm around.
Lovely pleated chiffon used for the arms and skirt. The overdress did have a rip at the base of the opening under the buttons. This has been repaired and is covered by the sash when worn.
Some small storage marks on the slip and very minor yellowing. Slip has a zip back closure, overdress is buttons and loop up the back. Was snug fitting on the mannequin at the above measurements.
